The Opportunity
Duolingo’s paid social testing revealed which messages and visuals sparked curiosity, clicks, and conversions. The next challenge? Translate that high-performing creative DNA into an App Store experience that could convert users at scale.
The Approach
We used insights from our top-performing ad variants—everything from visual humor to snappy copy—to reimagine the App Store experience from the ground up. Working cross-functionally with product, brand, and performance teams, I led the design effort to ensure consistency with Duolingo’s iconic tone while optimizing for attention and clarity. The final design focused on sharp hierarchy, playful visuals, and emotional cues that echo the brand’s charm.
