The Opportunity

Elevate, a brain-training app focused on communication skills, wanted to break through on paid social without the budget of a big brand campaign. The goal: drive acquisition by sparking curiosity and engagement—fast. They needed ads that didn’t just look good, but stopped the scroll and delivered results.

The Approach

We leaned into a performance-first creative strategy, building a modular campaign system that was fast, fun, and totally unpredictable. The art direction? Retro jazzercise characters with a bold, 1980s flair—sweatbands, neon, and all—putting viewers through vocabulary challenges that felt more like game show skits than standard ads.

Working with a nimble team, we rapidly tested multiple versions of each spot—tweaking everything from pacing to punchlines. The tone was goofy but smart, designed to feel native to TikTok and Reels while delivering clear value props for Elevate’s learning tools.
